Le Mans ’66. The Movie, motorsport and innovation …
I enjoyed watching the movie released on November 14th 2019 in Italy too.
An entertaining story drawn in fiction from the real story I read about years ago in the book “Go like hell: Ford, Ferrari and their battle for speed and glory at Le Mans” by A.J. Baime
The book inspired one of the chapters of my book focusing on Innovation and Motorsport “Innovation full throttle” and actually Ken Miles story (that leaves the movie’s plot) is the one to inspire the writing.
Representing RPM at the Motorsport Games 2019 in Rome!
It has been a pleasure to represent RPM network at the FIA Motorsport Games 2019 ( held in Rome and at the ACI Sport Vallelunga track from October 31st – November 3rd ) together with other companies and colleagues that are part of the network.
It has also been a pleasure to invite Massimo Donatelli, Responsible for Institutional Affairs at European Union Experts (EUE) to appreciate the relevant technical contribution of RPM companies to the Games ( at this link EUE full report on the events ).
In particular it has been a great experience to follow the successful developments relevant to the Formula 4 KCMG developed by Ycom ( here a full Ycom report on this unique project ).
Motorsport and an international perspective on things are two key reference points to my professional and personal life and I felt right in my center there! Stay tuned for developments…

How motorsport firms easily leverage expertise and knowledge from and to other sectors
Motorsport engineering firms are well known for their technical expertise and project management skills, particularly in the latter case around their speed of working. Their technical expertise comes from dealing at the cutting edge of science and technology in areas as diverse as light-weighting, electronics and thermal management for example. Motorsport firms also exemplify leading edge project management capabilities given the rapid turnaround of the motorsport timetable. Change made possible by brain plasticity
Change or Die : the research, the article and the relevant book are over 10 years old, yet the topic is ever relevant: #change is no longer an option, is no-other-way one-way path.

We need to realise that we can be in control of it, rather than being victim of it, by leveraging on natural aspects as #brainplasticity and tools as #framing and #reframing #thinking and #communication
Time to ask the tough questions
#Technology is more then ever driving #organizations from an operational and strategic perspective, yet the real question to its developement relates to how it can finally #empower an higher level of #humanpotential expression in organizations.
There is no longer time to wait and actually technology is accelerating all of this too.

An in depth qualitative and quantitative analysis is quite intriguing in lighting-up this way…
